The 'markers not detected' message can appear on screen for several reasons:
- The conditions required for the correct operation of the scan have not been met. Please check :
> The page you want to scan is completely flat, with the four markers clearly visible. For notebooks and diaries with a sewn binding, we advise opening and closing the product several times in order to loosen the binding. Doing this will help the pages to lay flat and make scanning them easier.
> Align the 4 markers on the page with the targets on the smartphone screen.
> Stay still so that the camera can focus.
- The selected scan mode is not the correct one. To select a different scanning mode, tap the red and white arrow in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen and select the correct mode :
> VERTICAL : this is the default mode. It can be used to scan all types of pages (except for FLASH 2.0 Flashcards & Revision Cards).
> HORIZONTAL : can be used to scan all your notes in landscape mode (except for diaries and Smart Charts).
> SQUARE : this is the format to use to scan Spot Notes.
- Your product is not compatible with SCRIBZEE :
> SCRIBZEE-compatible products have markers printed in the 4 corners of the page. The markers at the bottom of the page both have a microcode printed underneath.
> Please note that products bearing the smartphone app names SOS Notes, PowerChart and inConnect are no longer compatible with SCRIBZEE. We haven't manufacturing these notebooks for many years and despite all our efforts, the compatibility set up during the first years of SCRIBZEE is no longer available due to technical concerns which did not offer an optimal experience to the users of these products.
